The Kilkenny Choir will host an Open Evening on 24th September 2025 at its rehearsal venue, The Presentation Primary School, Parnell St., Kilkenny at 7pm.
Currently, the Choir has vacancies for tenors and basses and may have vacancies for sopranos and altos.
if you wish to join The Kilkenny Choir, please join us on the evening to sample our music. Auditions will be held following the Open Evening for anyone hoping to join us.

Spring Concert 2025
A Choral Extravaganza
On Saturday 3rd May 2025, The Kilkenny Choir performed an exhilarating selection of some of the finest choral repertoire at its Spring Concert in St. Canice’s Cathederal .
During the concert, The Kilkenny Choir was conducted by its Musical Director, Patrick Rafter and accompanied by an orchestra comprising of some of Ireland’s leading instrumentalists.
We were delighted to present one of Ireland’s finest mezzo-sopranos Sharon Carty as soloist on the evening.
